Down at the hotel. Parked like a douche in the baggage drop-off area, it’s been there every time I’ve gone outside, day and night.
Neat car, but come on!

Is there valet parking? It’s entirely possible that the valet left it there intentionally. I think they get instructions to leave the nice cars right up front.
If there’s no valet there, then yeah, fuck the owner of that thing.

That reminds me. Today I found out that a Toyota Solara can’t outrun a Mercedes CLA 250.

Have some fun by taping a random key with blue tape and a note on the window that says “Take the hint”

The bigger problem is there is a PT Cruiser in that picture

I4 or V6 though?

No valet. I found out that it belongs to a “frequent” guest.

I’m more bothered by that poor, abused Navigator. It’s like a big ol’ hound that
the dum-dum owner thinks looks “bad-ass” dressed up like a biker or something silly and embar
rassing to anyone looking.

Mines a V6 Coupe. So it’s actually an interesting comparison of numbers.
The Solara sits at:
225 HP
240 ft/lbs.
5 speed auto
3417 lbs
The CLA 250 is running an in-line 4 pumping out:
208 HP
258 ft/lbs
7 speed auto
3274 lbs
If I had to hazard an uneducated guess I would say the 7 speed transmission has a lot to do with its high end acceleration superiority. Not surprising that a new car is better than a 14 yr old car though

I hate people that abuse designated use parking. Home Depot “contractor” , restaurant pickup and handicapped. If you are not being loaded with a pallet full of goods from Home Depot or if you are driving a handicapped person that can be dropped off at a curb. Do n’t park in these spaces. My mother is handicapped and always wants me to park in handicap spaces when I can just drop her off at the curb and park as normal.

Technologically-advanced tire compounds , too - today’s Camrys have that advantage against an AMC AMX.

True. I didn’t even try in the corners. 1, my rears are nearly bald, 2. I knew his tires would be wider and better than mine.

Time for grippier tires and a turbo or two. Or swap in the later 3.5L Camry engine with an ECU running Lotus Evora software...
